GECCO Biotech awarded VIA subsidy from SNN

GECCO Biotech is pleased to announce that it has been granted support once again from the Northern Netherlands Alliance to research completely novel enzyme folds and reactivities under the VIA study scheme. The SNN stimulates growth of the northern provinces in the Netherlands: Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen.

The granted project will focus on enzymes active on carbohydrates, aiming to discover novel enzymes and engineer existing enzymes in our portfolio. The continuous development of enzymes strengthens GECCO’s portfolio and opens up new possibilities for wider use of enzymes in industrial processes.
