GECCO Biotech, together with Portal Biotech, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and Cortalix B.V., awarded EFRO grant

GECCO Biotech, Portal Biotech, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and Cortalix B.V. are pleased to announce that they have been granted support from the Northern Netherlands Alliance under the EFRO scheme. The SNN stimulates growth of the northern provinces in the Netherlands: Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen.

This project aims to develop and validate a portable, nanopore-based analyzer for rapid and accurate identification and characterization of biomolecules, including proteins and peptides. The resulting prototype will be a significant step towards commercialization, with applications in diagnostics and drug discovery.
